AnhangI. Allgemeine Angaben Die Barings GmbH (im Folgenden kurz "Gesellschaft" genannt) hat ihren Sitz in Frankfurt am Main und ist im Handelsregister des Amtsgerichts Frankfurt am Main unter der Nummer HRB 98797 eingetragen. Der Jahresabschluss der Gesellschaft für das Geschäftsjahr zum 31. Dezember 2023 wurde gemäß §§ 242 ff. und 264 ff. des Handelsgesetzbuchs sowie nach den einschlägigen Vorschriften des GmbHG aufgestellt. Die Gesellschaft ist eine kleine Kapitalgesellschaft im Sinne des § 267 Abs. 1 HGB. Von den Erleichterungsvorschriften bei der Offenlegung gemäß § 326 Abs. 1 S. 1 HGB wurde Gebrauch gemacht. Ebenso wurden die Erleichterungsvorschriften für die Aufstellung des Anhangs nach§ 274a HGB, § 288 Abs. 1 HGB sowie § 326 Abs. 1 S. 2 HGB für Offenlegungszwecke in Anspruch genommen. II. Bilanzierungs- und Bewertungsmethoden Anlagevermögen Das Sachanlagevermögen ist zu Anschaffungs- bzw. Herstellungskosten angesetzt und wird, soweit abnutzbar, um eine planmäßige Abschreibung vermindert. Bei den Zugängen von Gegenständen des Sachanlagevermögens wurden die Abschreibungen pro rata temporis vorgenommen. Die jeweiligen Abschreibungen erfolgen wie folgt:
Forderungen und sonstige Vermögensgegenstände Die Forderungen und sonstigen Vermögensgegenstände werden mit dem Nennbetrag oder mit dem am Bilanzstichtag niedrigeren beizulegenden Wert angesetzt und haben sämtlich eine Restlaufzeit von unter einem Jahr. Rückstellungen Steuerrückstellungen und sonstige Rückstellungen werden in Höhe des nach vernünftiger kaufmännischer Beurteilung notwendigen Erfüllungsbetrags angesetzt. Sie berücksichtigen alle ungewissen Verbindlichkeiten. Verbindlichkeiten Verbindlichkeiten werden mit dem Erfüllungsbetrag angesetzt. III. Sonstige Angaben Verbundene Unternehmen Als verbundene Unternehmen werden alle Gesellschaften angesehen, auf welche die Barings Europe Limited, London, UK, unmittel- oder mittelbar einen beherrschenden Einfluss ausüben kann. Sonstige finanzielle Verpflichtungen Wesentliche finanzielle Verpflichtungen, die nicht in den Rückstellungen, Verbindlichkeiten oder Haftungsverhältnissen enthalten sind, bestehen für folgende Verpflichtungen aus Miet- und Leasingverträgen:
Die Zahlungen verteilen sich auf die folgenden Jahre:
Haftungsverhältnisse Zum Bilanzstichtag bestehen keine weiteren Haftungsverhältnisse über die gemäß § 251 HGB zu berichten wäre. Mitarbeiter Im Geschäftsjahr waren 23 Angestellte (Vorjahr: im Jahresdurchschnitt 29 Angestellte) beschäftigt. Konsolidierungskreis Barings Europe Limited, London, UK ist das Konzernunternehmen, das den Konzernabschluss für den kleinsten Kreis von Unternehmen aufstellt. Der Konzernabschluss wird durch die Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company, Springfield, USA veröffentlicht.
