Angaben unter der Bilanz Das Geschäftsjahr der Gesellschaft ist das Kalenderjahr. Das Vorjahr war ein Rumpfgeschäftsjahr vom 1. Juni bis zum 31. Dezember 2022. Die Vergleichbarkeit der Zahlen des Jahresabschlusses zum 31. Dezember 2023 mit dem Vorjahresabschluss ist daher nur eingeschränkt möglich. Aus Gründen der Klarheit wird der Posten "Filmvermögen" als Posten zwischen Anlage- und Umlaufvermögen ausgewiesen. Unter diesem Posten werden die im Zusammenhang mit Eigenproduktionen anfallenden Herstellungskosten ausgewiesen. Die High-end Productions Germany GmbH weist in ihrer Bilanz des Geschäftsjahres 2023 einen nicht durch Eigenkapital gedeckten Fehlbetrag in Höhe von TEUR 597 (Vorjahr: TEUR 0) aus und ist damit bilanziell überschuldet. Die bilanzielle Überschuldung der Gesellschaft zum 31. Dezember 2023 beruht auf Zinsaufwendungen zur Finanzierung der Co-Finanzierungsbeiträge. Die Geschäftsführung rechnet damit, dass sich der nicht durch Eigenkapital gedeckte Fehlbetrag durch Auswertung der Filmrechte in 2024 sowie den Folgejahren wieder ausgleichen wird. Wesentliche Lizenzgebiete wurden bereits durch Vorverkäufe veräußert bzw. lizenziert. Diese Erlöse dürfen handelsrechtlich erst mit Verschaffung der Verfügungsmacht realisiert werden. Für die noch nicht vergebenen Auswertungsgebiete hat die Geschäftsführung eine Deckungsbeitragsrechnung aufgestellt und die Territorien einzeln bewertet. Die zukünftig erzielbaren Gewinne überschreiten dabei die Anschaffungskosten sowie die anfallenden Finanzierungsaufwendungen.
