It includes key figures on the proportion of building permits for new apartments in single and two-family houses as well as in buildings with three or more apartments, each in percentage terms. Additionally, building permits for new apartments per thousand inhabitants are depicted. For construction activity, the dataset includes completed apartments per thousand existing apartments and the proportion of new apartments in single and two-family houses of all new apartments. Furthermore, completed apartments in new single and two-family houses, in new multi-family houses, and in new residential buildings overall are each shown per thousand inhabitants. The picture is completed by the proportion of newly constructed single and two-family houses of all newly constructed houses.
