The Environmental dataset provides a comprehensive overview of key indicators related to waste management, water consumption, and agricultural nutrient balance. It includes the amount of waste disposed of or treated per inhabitant in kilograms, the percentage of household and bulky waste in household waste, household waste excluding electronic waste per inhabitant in tons, the percentage of organic waste in household waste, the nitrogen surplus in the nutrient balance on agricultural land in kilograms of nitrogen per hectare, the water supply to end consumers from households and small businesses in liters per inhabitant per day, and the percentage of recyclable materials in household waste. The data is available at the district and postal code levels and is suitable for regional comparisons, monitoring, and planning in administration, waste management, water management, and agriculture. By combining per capita indicators and percentage values, the dataset enables reliable statements on waste generation, composition of household waste, recycling potentials, organic waste shares, water demand of private households and small businesses, as well as the assessment of nutrient surpluses in agriculture.
