The dataset "Bedarfsgemeinschaften" describes the scope and structure of need-based communities in the context of basic security for job seekers according to SGB II. It contains key figures on the composition, age, and gender of employable beneficiaries as well as household structure. Among other things, it depicts the proportion of single-parent employable beneficiaries, the proportion of need-based communities with children, the proportion of need-based communities with one person, and the proportion of need-based communities with five or more persons. The age structure includes the proportion of employable beneficiaries under 25 years and over 55 years, supplemented by the proportion of female employable beneficiaries and the proportion of employable beneficiaries among all persons in need-based communities. For contextualization within the population, standardized relative values provide additional reference, including non-employable beneficiaries under 15 years per 100 inhabitants under 15 years and persons in need-based communities per 1000 inhabitants.
