The dataset Transferleistungen describes the average monthly benefit amounts in Germany and enables regional analyses at the district and postal code levels. It contains information on the average monthly entitlement amount of unemployment benefit I per recipient overall, as well as separately for female and male recipients. For the legal framework SGB II, the average monthly total amount of benefits per benefit community is reported, the share of unemployment benefit II in these SGB II benefits in percent, as well as the average monthly amount of housing benefits per benefit community and their share of the SGB II benefits. Additionally, the dataset indicates the average monthly amount of housing allowance per recipient household. The key figures are given in euros and percent and support analyses of the regional distribution and composition of transfer benefits as well as gender-specific differences in unemployment benefit I.
