The dataset "Leistungsempfänger" provides a comprehensive overview of key indicators related to social transfer benefits and family policy benefits in Germany. It includes standardized metrics on recipients of regular benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act per thousand inhabitants, as well as on parental allowance recipients with separate shares for mothers and fathers. Additionally, it shows the uptake by fathers per hundred children under one year. For social minimum security, the dataset contains the proportion of the population receiving social minimum security benefits, specifically basic security in old age, differentiated by the proportion of the population aged 65 and over and by the proportion of male and female recipients among all recipients of basic security in old age. For basic security for job seekers under SGB II, the shares of employable and non-employable beneficiaries among residents under 65 are reported, as well as the share of female employable beneficiaries among all SGB II recipients. The picture is completed by indicators on housing allowance, including the proportion of households with housing allowance per thousand households and the distribution of housing allowance recipient households by burden subsidy and rent subsidy in percent.
